This page was created to allow you folks an opportunity to read the same thought provoking information I receive everyday. Because whether or not an e-mail is from someone that agrees with me or disagrees, I will post their comments. The only e-mails I won't add to this web page are ones that use profanity or are way too long.

Todd,
I've noticed that you usually get two types of e-mail messages that you post on your site. People are either raving about your site and thanking you or they are telling you how crazy you are for believing as you do. This will be neither, but rather a mixed bag. I grew up in a rapture believing church. I was a premillenial dispensationalist for many years. I was sincere in this belief and found your site during that time of my life.
To make a rather long story much shorter, it was very spiritually damaging for me. I was so caught up in thinking the world was ending tomorrow or in the next moment that I was in a constant state of fear. The here and now became pointless. Would my unsaved loved ones make it in time? Was this or that particular political figure the next anti-Christ? Which poor deluded souls deceived by Satan would find themselves part of a group that thought they were Christian but were really part of the 'one world religion of the beast'? It was an awful and extraordinarily stressful way to live. It was all about judging others and then not doing anything remotely like putting my own faith in action and doing something worthwhile. Everything was so pointless and my only consolation was that I had been guaranteed to escape any sort of difficulty myself.
I began by reading the often cited scriptures and I found that there wasn't mention of a pre-tribulation rapture anywhere in the bible. There was nothing about dispensations at all. Then, the whole John Nelson Darby thing can't be swept under the rug so easily. However, the scriptures do speak about Christ's imminent return. I looked into historical Christianity and it changed my life for the better. I am definitely an amillenialist now. Those Christians who wrote the Nicene Creed had the right of it.
Here at Rapture Ready, your hearts are in the right place, but your focus is off. If I were a betting type, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that you'll never post this on your site. I'd be very surprised if you did.
May God continue to guide you to Himself.
Hey Todd
For years, 30 years or more, I believed whole heartedly in the bible. Even though my studies led me to find countless contradictions and other mega problems within the book, I continued to believe. Finally, I was able to break free of the wretched stranglehold religion had on me.
Upon visiting your site, I had to chuckle. Rapture ready? What do you know about the rapture Todd? The whole concept is a huge fantastic doctrine based on a molecule of suggestion, and nothing more.
There will be no repture Todd. You will not fly through the air leaving your articles of clothing behind.
You shouldn't attempt to convince others of such nonsense.
Hi Todd,
My name is Trevor and I am a Roman Catholic. I stumbled upon your website and read through some of your material. I can see that you love God sincerely and are trying your best to help others do the same. First I would like to say that I was very pleased by the way you speak about Catholics in a manner in which you do not promote hatred, lies or accuse them of being wrong or misled. So many Protestant webpages promote anti-Catholic views, and I commend you for not doing so. Our Church is so misunderstood because of lies and false accusations.
During a service one suday our pastor shared with us an outline of events that fell in line with Jewish holidays and in turn stated that the rapture would happen Sept. 23, 2008 and of course it did not and that seven years after that date would be when Jesus would set foot back on earth. This was not his own prediction just one that had been put together from some other calender other than ours. I know that no person on this earth can determine the date, but my son who is now twelve was seriously afftected by it. He seems very confused, the other day I was asking him about his relationship with Jesus and he would only say that "I don't want to be baptised right now, I have plenty of time." My family is praying for him as well as myself. I have always prayed to God that my son is not mine that he belongs to God and I am only the guide here,to show me the direction that he wants him to go and I feel that I have failed. I don't want him to suffer and be left behind, please pray that his heart will be receptive again and that God help us and keep him close.
I love your site, when I search and study and need help with understanding I come to it. You answered an e-mail of mine about eight years ago that really helped me get back to the Lord. May God bless you aboundantly as you spread understanding of Him and His love and salvation. Please keep me and my family in your prayers and our soon to be new additon Timothy that will join us in Feb. or the 1st of March. Timothty is an answered prayer, we can't wait to meed our little blessing.
BROTHER TODD AND BROTHER TERRY AND ALL. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SO MANY HOURS YOU PUT IN TO KEEP US INFORMED OF THE TRUTH IN THE WORD OF GOD. I KNOW ALL OF YOU HAVE SUFFERED MUCH PERSECUTION FROM THE THOUGHT OF THIS WEB SITE, IT'S BEGINNING, AND IT'S CONTINUANCE. WE CERTAINLY DO NOT KNOW THE HOUR, NOR THE DAY, BUT THOSE WHO ARE DILIGENTLY LOOKING FOR JESUS TO COME KNOW THE SEASON. YOU ARE HELPING US REALIZE THAT THAT SEASON IS UPON US. MANY TIMES DAILY I CHECK THIS WONDERFUL ETERNAL LIFE INSPIRING SITE TO GET EXCITED KNOWING JESUS COULD COME BEFORE I FINISH THIS EMAIL. THANK YOU FOR FINDING THOSE WHO GIVE US MESSAGES OF TRUTH AND ENCOURAGEMENT. O IF ONLY THE WHOLE WORLD WOULD HIT ON THIS SITE JUST ONCE AND KNOW GOD'S SALVATION AND BE ALERTED THAT TOMORROW WILL BE TOO LATE. I PRAY FOR YOU DAILY FOR GOD'S GRACE AND MERCY AND BLOOD TO PROTECT YOU IN SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS.
As I stated before, I believe Netanyahu will be the next Prime Minister of Israel. Livni has failed in setting up the required goverment in the allotted time frame. Furthermore, Netanyahu has formerly stated he will be the Prime Minister when the Messiah returns. Look up!
Dear Todd:
Thank-you so much for making this website. I found Rapture Ready when I was looking up information on the Rapture. I just happened to find this website. With all the great articles, Bible questions, and Biblical views on world events, this website really helps me learn more about Jesus Christ. I know this is the Lord's Will for you and I hope this website continues to help bring people to Christ.

Your website is a great resource. May God richly bless you for compiling all of this data. I will be recommending your site to my congregation this Sunday, as I preach on the truth of the pre-trib Rapture. Our Seminary firmly teaches the Rapture. If you are interested, please check out the school's website by going to www.stlts.org.
Hi Todd...
Do you know what Einstein said about God and Religion? He said that "God" and religion is for the weak and the afraid. And after seeing your site, I now know that it is also for the stupid. I personally think religion is a pretty good example of "Mass Hysteria". As for animals not having souls, well if that's true then it must also be true that people who have IQ's approximate to that of animals must be souless as well. This is includes you :)
See you in HELL and looking forward to it!!!!!!
Hi Todd,
My name is Bob Brammer and I live in east Texas.I just wanted to tell you how much I love "raptureready".I was so thankful the day I happened upon it.I now rely on it,as well as reading my bible,to help me in my walk of faith.I am so inspired by all of the wonderful articles written by the various contributors.I wish you could add Faith Noles to your "list of featured end times writers"(she is very good).Thank you so much Todd for providing this information for the true believers (and non believers),as a warning, and the only way to salvation. To accept Jesus as our savior, confess our sins, and have them washed away clean by His precious blood. All glory be to God!
Greetings, and God bless you! You work great works of the Lord through this wonderful website. Truly, the Lord is, and will continue, prospering you with His supreme wisdom, love, and grace. Indeed, we are living in the endtimes, and I suspect we're living in the last few nanoseconds of these last days. I have learned the true meaning of knowledge by studying scripture from a prophetic point of view, and I am learning how to value life and most importantly, how to value God's supreme message to us all, embodied in John 3:16. I have learned so very, very much from this website and its articles. In fact, this website along with some well-known preachers were the main reasons why I left my old religious ways in Roman Catholicism. The arguments proposed on this site's various pages and those proposed by the evangelical movement in general made me see clearly the evil of religion, particularly the many pagan practices in certain branches of so-called christianity. Also, the prophetic point of view is a very powerful witnessing tool, in my opinion. Speaking about the rebirth of Israel as a nation, the rise of Magog and Persia (et. al), etc. all bring forth powerful points in our daily evangelism. When I was practicing in Roman Catholicism, we never even heard the idea of bible prophecy. Perhaps it was there, in all fairness, but it was certainly never stressed. Yet even if it was stressed, it was probably ruined by the idea of replacement theology, which I learned about through this wonderful website. Finally, thank God for Jesus Christ, whose hands and feet are people like you and other evangelists, who pulled people like me out of false denominations, all allegedly christian by name. God bless you, all of your brethren, and this web ministry. May peace always reign over you, and may grace abide in the deepest depths of your soul. Again, if it wasn't for God who works through people like you, evangelicals, I would be in deep darkness. Thank you for all your hard work!
Well my suggestion to improve the site is to at least make an effort to understand the basics of cosmology and evolutionary biology before you spout such bigoted nonsense.
If you brought your ideas over here to the UK, or indeed to most parts of educated Europe, you would be laughed out of the country.
All I ask is that you simply make the effort, however difficult it may be for you to grasp.
Have a good life.
Hi Terry; it's Sondra. I just wanted to compliment you and Todd on an excellent Nearing Midnight article today. You two are so "right on" and I just pray that people everywhere will wake up, hear and see what's happening and seek His Word. One of my favorite scripture verses is from 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives." Just as you two said, it's all right there in the Bible; all we have to do is read and believe; but when you have pastors in churches teaching their congregations that the Bible is not the infallible and innerant word of God and that there are errors in the Bible; and that prophecy in the Bible has already happened; what can we do to save these people; I love the song we sing at church that says - Unlock the deaf ears, open the blind eyes, hear us from heaven, we are your people, HEAL THIS GENERATION, etc. Oh, we need this so very very much. We must all pray for this to happen.

Todd,
That was a great message on the whole rationale for the sight and how people should be focused on others spiritual eternity. Too many people get caught up trying to figure out how to beat the future and forget what Christ's intent for us was in his final messages. If people really want to do something, they need to support you guys and missions around the world, as well as their churches here in the U.S. They should carefully invest God's money, so that it reaps multiples in saved lives here on earth. God gives us the blessing and the opportunity to do so. I can tell you that quietly watching those returns gives you a whole lot more pleasure than stock piling your riches or planning your compound for the end times, only to find yourself swept away in death and having to answer what you did on this earth. God Bless and way to keep these human compasses pointed in the right direction.
Todd and Terry,
Just wanted to express to you both how blessed and encouraged I am to read your website each day. Everyday I check to see the new articles and I am especially excited on Mondays to see the new updates on Nearing Midnight and Israel Watch.
I am so blessed to read them because I find there seems to be NO one to talk with about these issues . Most just laugh and lightheartedly tease and these are godly people whom I greatly respect!!
Anyway, I thank Jesus for you guys and what you are doing. I just had a question to ask that is always on my mind and wanted your response.
In my prayers I am constantly almost groaning for him to call us home and I just keep thinking about that verse in Luke that says when all "these things" begin to look up for your redemption draweth nigh.
(My NIV says 'when you see these things happening" )
I keep saying "Lord, they have BEGUN and how long do they have to continue "beginning"? Does that make sense, because doesn't that phrase when "these things begin" sort of make you think that when they start to happen or does it mean when after they continuing happening for a long time?
Whatever it means I know any second now our Lord could come, and just wanted to say I am looking forward to seeing you both in Heaven and to say thank-you so much, for you have encouraged me to keep looking up!!
"The Rapture Ready message board only sees about 5 percent of the site's traffic, but it causes 95 percent of our headaches."
It looks to me like you've solved your own problem. Personally, I think message boards are a huge waste of time. Furthermore, if I could eliminate 95% of my headaches by dropping 5% of my business, there would be no doubt of what to do. Just one guy's opinion, however. I greatly appreciate your ministry and am only interested in your well-being.
Hello Todd and Terry,
Since we are in the 'electronic age' and much of our communication
takes the form you are reading now, some time ago I decided to
put a Bible verse as my signature on all my emails. Since I am an
active seller on ebay, those verses reach many, many people.
Also, I buy my personal checks from a company called promisechecks.com
and they give you a free space to add a personal message.
As I needed to re-order and when I was filling out the forms,
I was prompted to put this personal message right on my checks:
"Time is short- are you ready?"
I hope it may lead some to further research into the Word,
as they are obviously Christian checks with Bible verses on them.
My physical circle of movement in this life is rather small, as I
sell online for a living and I only travel somewhat locally.
I do share the gospel when the opportunity arises and I get a
willing ear at the auctions I attend ,to obtain my selling inventory.
I have had some nice responses from my email signatures, most
who are Christian are joyful to see a sister in Christ sending that
message. And hopefully, unbelievers, reading the Word, will possibly
have a seed planted.
Just two ideas almost everyone can do to help spread the gospel.
They are easy and reach lots of people. I also recommend this site
to many people as well.
Keep up the good work and may the Lord bless all at Rapture Ready.
Dear Todd,
Thank you for a truly amazing website ~ I have spent hours reading all of the articles and find Rapture Ready to be an invaluable resource, especially in the times we live in and those that lie ahead. I strongly feel the end of times is imminent, scary for some but for those that believe it is an exciting time as well.
Hello,
Was looking at some of the interesting emails that you post on your website and I just had to give my input on one of them. The emailer did not give his name but he stated that he was curious why people put so much stock in the Bible, and stated that it was written by ignorant, superstitious, ruthless bronze-age goat herders that didn't even know the world is a sphere....etc....etc. Hopefully the Lord will lead him back to this site and he will read my email........."Dear Curious......they did know the earth was a sphere....check it out for yourself.....if you have access to a Bible read ISAIAH chapter 40....verse 22....."HE (God) sits enthroned above the circle of the earth". The Bible tells us what happened in the past and most importantly.......what will happen in the future. I pray that God will open your heart and eyes so that you may accept Jesus as your savior and Lord.........before it's too late. God Bless & Maranatha
Hi Todd and
friends,
There is
much that is meritorious on your web pages. On a number of doctrinal
issues, however, I must respectfully disagree, based not only on the
clear teachings of scripture but on the teachings of the church from the
earliest times. I'll address just one, where on your frequently asked
questions page you answer the question:
What is
communion and should we still do it?
"An
incorrect teaching prevalent in some large denominations is that the
elements-the wine and the bread-actually become the real body and blood
of Jesus Christ upon consumption. This thinking originates from the
above-mentioned Scripture in which Jesus said, "This is my body..."
Clearly, since Jesus was still alive and actually in the room, He was
speaking symbolically. Furthermore, there is no reason for God to have
believers consuming the actual flesh and blood of His Son."
While it
may be difficult for some Christians of good will to understand why
Jesus chose to institute the Eucharist, this non-bloody representation
of His sacrifice on the cross is decidedly not symbolic. Our Lord
couldn't have been more clear. Without parsing words He said "This is my
body ...This is my blood." The fact that Jesus directed His disciples to
celebrate the Eucharist "in memory of Me" does not imply it's reduction
to a quaint symbolism such as celebrating a friends birthday, etc.
Do
prayerfully study Jesus' discourse on the Bread of Life: John 6: 25-59.
This, of course is where Jesus tells his listeners "Let me solemnly
assure you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his
blood, you have no life in you .... For my flesh is real food and my
blood is real drink. The man who feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me, and I in him." Recall that this was the occasion for many
of Jesus' disciples to brake away. There response was "This sort of talk
is hard to endure! How can anyone take it seriously?" (John 6: 60) We
are told that many chose not remain in His company any longer. Neither
do we see Jesus say interiorly --"Oops! I guess I goofed up a bit on
that one!" nor exteriorly ..."Wait! You good people misunderstood me! I
was only speaking about this symbolically!/font>
Consider
this point, apart from the passages I quote in my response: Is this not
the same Lord (God's only begotten son) about whom John speaks "In the
beginning was the Word ....?" Do we not believe by grace and by faith
that by His very Word the world came into being. So too, many Christians
understand that by His Word -- that same Word of God that caused Lazarus
to rise from the dead, the blind to see and the deaf to hear, bread
becomes His precious body and wine His precious blood at the Eucharistic
meal.
The Apostle
Paul also speaks definitively about the Eucharist in 1 Corinthians 11:
23-35. (Also see 1 Corinthians 10: 16-17) In addition, Paul's caution to
the faithful to examine themselves before partaking in the Eucharist
(lest they do so unworthily) bears witness to what they are partaking
of, the actual body and blood of Christ.
There is
one matter, however, about we can totally agree! Jesus is Lord and He is
Risen! Continue to proclaim His Good news for we know not the hour at
which He shall surely come again.
Dear Rapture Ready Crew:
Let me first say that I am very blessed to have
discovered your website. I happened across it in the most divine way.
I had just finished reading two books by author, Daymond Duck. I was so
impressed by his books that I did an internet search of his name to
learn more about him. The first site that came up in my "hit list" was
Rapture Ready. WOW! I am hooked! Now I feel I need to get my daily
dose of R.R. I am relatively new to studying Bible prophecy, however it
is something I have had a deep interest in for many years, I just never
really pursued it too much. Being that I was raised and still practice
the "conservative" Lutheran faith, my church has never really spoken too
much on the end times subject, which I personally think is sad. After
all these years, I am finding out on my own with the help of R.R. just
how important it is to stay awake in the Lord and pay attention to what
is happening in the world. There are so many people who are truly
oblivious to the things that are taking place around us.
Someone sent me a Power Point slideshow of photographs a
Marine took of Babylon. They are truly amazing photos and I
am attaching them in this email as I think you would enjoy them. I
don't know if it is possible for you to post them on your website, but
if you would like, you are more than welcome to share them.
Thank you for the hard work and great job you do
at reaching out to the world to spread God's message of hope.
God Bless You!

If you are a 'fearless leader' than you will talk to me for I am the man the world refers to as the Messiah. I am all that the bible says that the Messiah is and I have demonstrated the truth and the way as Jesus did to a much greater degree.
The Christians will disappear in the twinkling of an eye for they were not practicing what the bible was teaching. My church and ways and thoughts are not of this world but of the New World that will rise up out of this world. All religions will disappear when the world is on the narrow path behind the leader who knows the Creators Way.
I am the Restorer that has vast experience permanently resolving problems and with the support of mankind there is nothing we cannot do.
I attached a small fragment of one of the many wars that I fought against Satan and the Anti Christ's. This particular war was heard in 4 Massachusetts courthouses and I have stood before dozens of judges in my lifetime in such strange and unusual manners as this without a single loss. I have been demonstrating fearless leadership my whole life.
Good Morning, I wanted you to know that I
think it is so sad that so many people cannot see what is all around
them, what it inevitable, and the signs of the times. I have read your
website for several years, but this year, I have really been more
dedicated than ever before. I will admit, I never thought we, as
Christians, would see 2008 and here we are, almost 1/2 way through it
and we still remain. I want Jesus to come back so bad....I can picture
in my mind a great big 10 year long hug that will wipe away all anxiety,
all sadness and fill me with an everlasting peace - I long for that hug
and cannot wait for the day I get it.
I wished I could afford to help your site
financially, but as you are aware, it takes some folks every penny they
make to survive in this world now days. I have you guys in my prayers
and hope that you will continue God's work for as long as He allows and
as soon as I can, I promise to help you financially, it may not be much,
but every little bit helps. I love you all in Christ.
God Bless you all,
I'm curious why people put so much stock in a book (the bible) written by ignorant, superstitious, ruthless bronze-age goat herders that didn't even know the world is a sphere and contains so much violence and so many contradictions that most of it obviously can't be trustworthy or true. Can you explain that to me? By putting so much effort into your web site, I'm inclined to think you are actually looking forward to the rapture. Is that true? If so, that's pretty sick.
Good luck with your rapture,
JJust felt like I should tell you how much I enjoy your site! I know you are busy, but I wanted to tell you how much your teachings have helped me in my own study of Gods holy bible. I am a Paramedic, I got my son involved in EMS and he got a job at the same County 911 service as I worked at. He loved it! My son was on his way to work on Dec.19 2007, and was killed in a car accident. Just 3 months after starting the job I helped him get. Our own people feverishly worked to save him, with no obvious injuries, they were in shock when he went into cardiac arrest. The surgen told me he had a torn aorta. He bled to death in his lungs. He was only 21 yrs old. Friends of his told me at his funeral that a few days before the accident my son Christopher was at their house, they were all in circle praying, Christopher fell to his knees, crying, telling God how much he loved him. At the time I was told of this I really didnt think much about it. But in the coming months of sorrow and grief it has become a big source of comfort. You see, he was baptized, he went to church, he was in a christian band, but the devil still tries to make me doubt his salvation. I know those things are works, but I know that just days before he went to be with the Lord he was on his knees filled with the Holy Spirit and that relationship determined his eternal destination. I have selfish reasons for looking forward to the Rapture, as you can imagine, but your site has given me a fire like I have never in my life had, to talk to people and tell them about our JESUS. I am praying for the Rapture, but living a somewhat balanced life in the now, until Jesus comes for us and I am reunited with my Christopher.
Thank You!

Just want to say thank you for your site. I have the opportunity to discuss with a post trib believer but has been awhile since studying this. Your site was invaluable to help me fond the scriptures I needed.
Thank you and God Bless you.
I can across your site on my schools computer thank you. Sometimes I feel very alone out here it great to see others who believe. all I can say is thank you.
Good day,
Just sending a quick email from St. John's, Newfoundland. I discovered your website today thanks to it being listed near the search engine on msn.ca. I think your website is amazing, I have spent hour today on it ready over different things. It's amazing how similar your beliefs are to my own, when I read the FAQ section it was as if I wrote it all myself! :) I think you are doing an excellent job, and I hope more and more people discover this site. I will pass it on to everyone I know, and hopefully they will do the same.
Dear Todd and Terry:
Maybe you should inform the unbelievers who send such hateful emails to RR, who are just looking for a quick fight, that it would speed things up if they sent them to the attention of Jesus Christ.
Then you could set up an auto reply email that says something like this:
"Thank you for your comments, you will receive a sure and clear response in a timely manner, as we do expect His return at any moment!"
Just a thought. Your sight is amazing, God is with His warriors, Todd & Terry.
God bless you, you're in my prayers.
Your Sister in Christ
Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that I recently found your website and am delighted I did. Our pastor is basically a post-tribber and he and I have had many spirited conversations. While I recognize that putting together the pieces to the "rapture" question is not easy, the pre-trib position just solves way more problems than any other position.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to enjoying your articles and notes until we meet in the air with our Lord (before the tribulation, that is).
You're all morons, and I'll tell you why. You are not just sitting around waiting for the "rapture", but you and other evangelicals, some in high places, christian zionists, neocon politicians in Washington, Jewish zionists in Tel Aviv, are actively trying to involve the entire world in the most hideous war in history. The sheer arrogance of your stance is astounding. If you're wrong, (and of course you are), but successful, then your delusional superstitious psychosis will be responsible for the deaths of millions, if not billions. You'll all be murderers worse that Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and the crusaders all rolled into one. But you don't care. To you, vindication and realization of your phantasmagoric philosophy is worth the destruction of civilization.
It's criminally insane. If there is a benevolent god, (s)he was not the author of such nonsense. Where did you get such monstrous ideas? Oh yeah. I forgot. The bible. That good book where god kills millions, murders children, has men rape little girls, orders his creatures to own slaves, and commits just about every other crime imaginable. And that's just the old testament. The new testament has its own peculiar brand of criminality, cleverly cloaked behind a kinder and gentler facade ((excludng revalations, (from the knder gentler part) of course)).
Think! Use your brain for once. Isn't it a lot more likely that a bunch of deranged, desert brain-fried kooks came up with all that garbage? That god didn't write a book at all? What the hell's wrong with you people? Live and let live. Jeezus!!
Hi Todd,
Thank you for having such a comprehensive site! I was channel surfacing last night and stumbled across The Antichrist Chronicles. Like you, I have a tremendous passion for the end times subject so I stayed tuned. It was obvious early on that the pastor was going to challenge the timeline presented in the Left Behind series (and many other major prophesy teachers), but I was curious of his arguments. It was based on 2 Thes 2:1-6. So, I went looking on RR website today for your response and it was right there!! I knew that he was comingling the rapture and the second coming, though it was very refreshing to see you spell it out.
Our church is having a four week study on end times starting this month. I am a little nervous about it, though nervous is probably not the best term - I just don't want our church to inaccurately handle the Word of God. The advertising reads...
"Christians all over the world are shifting their opinions about what the Bible teaches on the end times. Pastor Hous has changed his view to the more emerging view on the end times."
If you were to guess as to what this "emerging view" might be what would you say?
April 21
Gentlemen,
May God
bless and keep you both in Jesus holy, holy, holy name Amen. My name is
Stanley and I live in Albany, NY. I myself am well rooted in the truth
of our Lords Word and I am actively working to serve Him with my life as
well as to praise Him with my mouth. I am in a bible believing
non-denominational church where we simply serve Jesus with our lives and
by taking the Lord at his inherent and timeless Word. I personally have
a few ministries that involve the spreading of the gospel to lost souls
as well as doing my best to be an unashamed and strong witness to what
Jesus has done for me in my own life in saving me. I do so for the
expressed purpose of saving souls to the glory of God our Father and
through His son Jesus my King. Amen! Got to get happy at the name of
Jesus! Thank God we can always rejoice at the name of Jesus! Okay so
I'm not trying to speak well of myself gentlemen or to try an convince
you of what a great guy I am. To the contrary let me assure of filthy
nature of all of my works and confess that I am ONLY made clean by the
blood of the Lamb. NOT by any work of my own. I just mean to say that
I am twenty plus years walking with our King and am no infant in the
Lord.
This
having been said then I just finished reading your latest weekly
commentary. This one was with regards to violence in the Earth and it
being a profound end times indicator. Just as Jesus said it would be.
Prior to that you mentioned about how many are not following through
with "enduring unto the end". Again, just as Jesus said. It is then
with a wounded and heavy burdened heart that I confess
to you both that these end times have become to me a daily struggle not
to allow my own heart to wax cold for the lawlessness that I
see abounding in the Earth.
I will
be honest with you. It makes me angry to the point that I would take
action and seek revenge on evil like a real life vigilante super hero or
something. Sounds silly I know. But I am a fully trained and well
experienced hand to hand combat instructor. I am also fully trained and
competent in the use of more than a few weapons. Forming a picture? I
received my training while active and we'll leave it at that. This said
I am not kidding. My heart is just so hurt and angry at the disgusting
lack of human compassion that exists in this world. And as such
and from my completely broken heart I want to strike out with a forceful
vengeance and start "putting things straight" one bad guy at a time.
This is truly how I feel and is my initial reaction when I read of such
horrible things as this teenager being beaten so brutally. Daily do I
read of these things and with an increased intensity and frequency do
these things happen. Like birth pangs. And, just as Jesus said they
would. So then I also confess that If the Lord did not keep me my heart
would have waxed cold long ago.
I do
know very well however that vengeance belongs to the Lord and that He
and He alone repays. Therefore it is not mine to strike but to forgive,
and to love. And not just those who are mine but especially those
who would be my enemy. And so I do. I honestly do. But from an
increasingly frustrated and broken heart. I do so much desire for the
Lord to take us home and furthermore to see Him rule from Jerusalem for
His millennial reign on Earth. Oh God in Heaven knows I cannot wait to
see this come to pass. Then the day's of the bad guys will have ended!
Maranatha? Yes Sir! Maranatha!
What is
my point then? Simply this, be encouraged and of good cheer gentlemen.
We are here deployed behind the lines and in a very active war zone in
which the enemy is growing increasingly fierce knowing he has but a
little time. What did we expect should happen in war? That it would be
easy? That we should escape with no wounds? No Sir, in this world we
SHALL have tribulation. Come on fellas, finish it for me. I know
you've already thought it. Jesus said "but be of good cheer for I have
over come the world"! Amen? Amen! Amen! Head up troops! We ARE
short for this tour and soon the King will be calling us home to HQ
Heaven above and never more shall we be apart from Him our precious God
and King. Jesus! Our Lord and King Jesus! Ah! My heart does yearn
and groan at this world. But soon gentlemen! Soon we will changed and
never to be under such heartache again. So here I encourage you to keep
your craniums skyward and to press on toward that day. Enduring with
patients and longsuffering (as is ours to do) until the Lord does call
us home. Enduring to the end. God bless and keep you Sirs. Your
dedication to the truth is a great encouragement to me and many others.
Head up!
You're all morons, and I'll tell you why. You are not just sitting around
waiting for the "rapture", but you and other evangelicals, some in high
places, christian zionists, neocon politicians in Washington, Jewish
zionists in Tel Aviv, are actively trying to involve the entire world in the
most hideous war in history. The sheer arrogance of your stance is
astounding. If you're wrong, (and of course you are), but successful, then
your delusional superstitious psychosis will be responsible for the deaths
of millions, if not billions. You'll all be murderers worse that Hitler,
Stalin, Mao, and the crusaders all rolled into one. But you don't care. To
you, vindication and realization of your phantasmagoric philosophy is worth
the destruction of civilization.
It's criminally insane. If there is a benevolent god, (s)he was not the
author of such nonsense. Where did you get such monstrous ideas? Oh yeah. I
forgot. The bible. That good book where god kills millions, murders
children, has men rape little girls, orders his creatures to own slaves, and
commits just about every other crime imaginable. And that's just the old
testament. The new testament has its own peculiar brand of criminality,
cleverly cloaked behind a kinder and gentler facade ((excludng revalations,
(from the knder gentler part) of course)).
Think! Use your brain for once. Isn't it a lot more likely that a bunch
of deranged, desert brain-fried kooks came up with all that garbage? That
god didn't write a book at all? What the hell's wrong with you people? Live
and let live. Jeezus!!
Todd,
I have dropped a couple of emails to you in the past. I discovered
Rapture Ready sometime in 1999. It’s a great site!
I just wanted to say Hi to you and Terry. I will drop him the same
message.
Have a great day!!!!!
Read a story linked to this website, rhapsody ready,
which declared ewing as the most evil man ever. It declares this,
apparently, because like virtually all religious organizations, he scams
people for money. My question to you is this, knowing that the salaries for
preachers who have large congregations(and those who don’t strive to) make
in the excess of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of
dollars a year. A really god example is that fellow from Houston who rents
out the old basketball arena and has a weekly congregation of 17000 per
week. Millions taken in yearly. Anyway my question, are you just jealous?
The teachings of both the old and new testament are clear. Appreciation of
God’s miraculous gift to man is not religion, both the old and new testament
condemn the concept of “religion”. We are unique among God’s creations
because we have the choice to love one another. Our choice is not decided
simply by procreation. I think you should apologize to james ewing. He may
be a sleazebag but he is far from the most evil man in the world. He is
simply doing what every other person and organization who claims to
love God and wants to spread the message is doing, he is attempting to make
a dollar at it. If these people and organizations (large and small) were
serious about wanting to spread peace and enlightenment then they would
condemn religious order.
Hello Todd, and
Terry,I have been following the "Violence Thread"
for quite a while in the daily news. Todd wrote about it a while back and as
he did, even more stupendous violence was reported that very week. Indeed,
it has not abated even a little bit!
A story just broke as I read this weeks
Nearing Midnight, a mother in Vermont, a state that I lived in for two
years, killed herself and her two children this weekend, by drowning in an
ice cold stream.
Todd's comments in this weeks Nearing
Midnight compliment Terry's comments. Fair weather Christianity goes hand in
hand with violence of our times as a sign of the end times.
All of the categories of signs are screaming
at us from the daily headlines, yet I find a renewed vigor in resistance to
the Gospel message.
I canceled my mission trip throughout the
deep south this summer so that I can help a local church finish and
implement an evangelistic outreach. This little local church is studying
"The Way of the Master" DVD and booklet. This small rural church is one of
several which are taking the gospel message to the streets, and homes in the
area.
Believe me, even though this is the bible
belt, there is no shortage of people here who need the Gospel message!
An example of this is my friend Fred.
I have been talking to him about the gospel
for months now. He has finally accepted the fact that God is the creator of
heaven and earth but has a big problem with the bible and Jesus. I told him
about the rapture and he says that if this happens then he will certainly
accept Jesus as his savior.
Of course we all know that this will not do,
and I warned him of what the bible says about this.
He continues to ask me questions and watches
me like a hawk, testing me and waiting for me to mess up!
He went so far as to tell me that he was
testing me! What a hoot!
I think that there are lots of Fred's out
here who will, one day, collectively realize that they waited too long.
Be encouraged my friends, your efforts to
get one more soul saved before the rapture is worth it.
Keep up the good work.
Hi Todd,
Thank you for having such a comprehensive
site! I was channel surfacing last night and stumbled across The
Antichrist Chronicles. Like you, I have a tremendous passion for the
end times subject so I stayed tuned. It was obvious early on that the
pastor was going to challenge the timeline presented in the Left Behind
series (and many other major prophesy teachers), but I was curious of
his arguments. It was based on 2 Thes 2:1-6. So, I went looking on RR
website today for your response and it was right there!! I knew that he
was comingling the rapture and the second coming, though it was very
refreshing to see you spell it out.
Our church is having a four week study on
end times starting this month. I am a little nervous about it, though
nervous is probably not the best term - I just don't want our church to
inaccurately handle the Word of God. The advertising reads...
"Christians all over the world are shifting
their opinions about what the Bible teaches on the end times. Pastor
House has changed his view to the more emerging view on the end times."
Hi Todd just wanted to let you know that I
realy enjoyed
Ron Grahams Lies. It is very true about the
attacks on the Christian belief, I have been seeing this more and more,
I see it on TV in the papers in books on the web and in the news, I have
been blowen away by how much Christianity is attacked, yet you don't
seem to here to much about other religions...
Anyway, keep the good work up.
Hi,
I just want to thank you for the wonderful website you have. I stumbled
on it about 3 years ago and now regularly read your weekly commentaries
and other articles. I have recommended the site to other Christians
because of the timeliness of your messages with regard to end time
prophecy. I was saved about 3 years ago and long for the Rapture to take
place and I share this with all who will listen. As a nurse I have
opportunities to witness to people and have referred to your site many
times while talking to others. There is just something so exciting to me
about Jesus calling up all believers before things get so terrible that
living in this world will be unbearable. I anxiously await His call!
Thanks for your messages of hope, your educational writings and all the
wonderful information that is contained on your website. I know that
many people who are left behind will find Rapture Ready to be a great
source of comfort and enlightenment once the Rapture has taken place.
God bless you for the great work you do to share the coming kingdom of
Christ with both believers and non-believers alike. I certainly will
pray for the continued success of your site and for God's blessing and
guidance in your efforts.
Thanks for your Web sight:
God leads the faithful to
the knowledge of His truth.
Placing people like you in
the world, with the wisdom to go forth to give understanding of His message
to those that have ears to hear and eyes to see and an open heart to know
His the truth .
Not to be
too critical, but ... is your "new" button stuck on the 'new articles'
section? Some of the articles have been there for weeks, and "The
endtimes according to Ezekiel 7" , implies that .. "endtimes according
to Ezekiel 1" is now, not so "new". It's a minor thing, I know, but
needles a bit.
I do love
the 'Nearing Midnight' portion especially. Relating the news and
worldwide movements toward prophecy fulfillment is rivoting stuff, and
leads to some of the best reading on the site. We love to hear your (and
guests') interpretations of events.
I would
like a little more extended discussion on changes in the Rapture Index,
too. Maybe with ties to scripture. It's such an important topic, and
would help to keep us attentive in preparing and watching./font>
Love your
site. Just giving a couple of things for consideration. God Bless your
work.
